P2P CLOUD

Intelligent server-load distribution

Distributed delivery using resources of voluntarily participating client devices. Designed for your infrastructure, data model and security requirements.

Up to 99% potential savings on selected server-cost categories under favorable conditions

Savings up to 99%, performance, scale and resource limits are design targets, not guaranteed outcomes. Actual figures are established through testing on the customer infrastructure.

How it works

  1. The origin server retains original photos, files and other data as the source of trust.
  2. A backup server provides data protection and recovery copies.
  3. Participating devices exchange encrypted data through a voluntary P2P network.
  4. Routing selects available paths based on connection quality and resource limits.
  5. Integrity checks validate received data, with server fallback whenever P2P is unavailable.

Benefits

  • Potential savings on selected delivery costs by reusing available copies.
  • A design target of millions of devices, subject to staged load testing.
  • Configurable resource limits and client throttling.
  • Encrypted transport, integrity validation and access controls.
  • Backup servers and alternative routes.
  • Traffic monitoring and load optimization.
  • PWA and mobile integration within platform constraints.

Client resource controls

  • A design target of 5–10% CPU use, validated on target devices.
  • A configurable transfer cap up to 5 MB/s, not constant bandwidth consumption.
  • Automatic throttling under load or degraded connectivity.
  • Battery and traffic controls, including restrictions on metered networks.
  • Voluntary opt-in and a clear way to leave the network.

Who it is for

Marketplaces, social platforms, cloud storage, media and file services with repeated requests for the same data. Viability depends on actual traffic, peer availability and server-delivery costs.

Delivery scope

  • Custom P2P architecture.
  • Server and client components.
  • Integration with websites and apps.
  • Network administration dashboard.
  • Load, traffic and cost monitoring.
  • Security and performance testing.
  • Technical documentation and deployment.

Custom development

from $60 000

Final cost depends on scale, security, integration and resilience requirements.
